First of all, let’s thanks to God (Allah), the almighty who has been giving us mercy and blessing so wecan attend and gather in this good place and happy condition.

Secondly, may peace and salutation always be given to our prophet Muhammad SAW who has guided us from darkness to the lightness in the world as well as in the next world.

Thirdly, I will never forget to say thanks to protocol who has given me the opportunity to deliver my speech in front of you all.

Dear Brothers and Sisters

On this occasion, I will deliver a speech about the Influence of Foreign Culture Entering Indonesia.  With the aim to invite you to be more selective and careful to foreign cultures coming into our country. We know with the rapidly advancement of science and technology, then any information can be immediately known. One of the media technology that is widely used by the public is televition.

Television is very big influence on the changes that happen to citizen, because television often broadcast the event that smells of foreign cultures, especially Western culture. From there the people  began to recognize and gradually or step by step they will imitate something they see. Like habits, behavior, style and even to imitate the ways of their dressing.

Dear Brothers and Sisters

Indonesia as a nation that adheres to traditional eastern and guided by the Constitution, we should be able to be selective, it means taking on the bright side of the entry of the foreign culture. However, if we can’t afford to be selective, we will be affected by the foreign cultures and over time we will forget our own culture. Therefore we must please be careful in choosing a foreign culture, and keep our religion, because religion is the foundation in our life.

Dear Brothers and Sisters

Now many people who imitate the habits of the west. For example, how to dress a teenager now that most of the ways western dressing. Seperti style: wearing a short skirt, jeans, or even a tight shirt. They had no shame instead of pride in what they do. That’s all does not reflect as a good citizen.
Why it could they do, even though the act was contrast to customs and our religion? That's because they do not selective against any foreign culture enter in Indonesia. And they can not differs which are good and which are bad.

We can take the positive aspects of the influnce of foreign culture. One of the benefits from iinfluence foreign culture that we may be able know their customs, habits, behavior of the culture of other countries, so that we can add to our knowledge.

All in all based on the description, I have already concluded that not all foreign cultures coming into our country was good. Therefore, we should be able to be selective, namely by taking only the bright side and be careful of foreign culture enter to our country. And are guided by our religion. In addition we as the younger generation should also preserve the culture of our own country, Indonesia. In order to keep well and not forgotten.
